A little about me: First and foremost, I am an avid cyclist riding on average 7,000k a year. I ride to work, I ride fondos, I ride my bike every day through all kinds of weather, because I love it. I’m also a lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, primarily in personal injury law.
In 2019, I founded The Cycling Lawyer because I saw a need within the cycling community for specialized representation. As a passionate cyclist myself, I hold a unique perspective into the complex world of bicycling and the law. My goal is to fight on behalf of cyclists and advocate for safer streets.
In the process of building my business I have quickly learned that it is our collective voice that enables us to push for respect on the roads, safer streets and cycling infrastructure spending. Together we are a force to contend with!
In the months to come, I will be writing posts here on cycling and the law. My goal is for these posts to be as interactive as possible, so if you have any cycling or legal questions, please pass them along.
I’m looking forward to riding the road ahead with you.

In January I experienced a crash and suffered a serious injury to my left knee. It gave me an understanding of what it means to be challenged so deeply by pain and injury.
